Lida Griffin

Lida Griffin is a member of the Caregiver Council, a body developed to create more parent-led decision making within Cambridge’s Department of Human Service Programs, which administers (among other things) after school and summer programs.

Lida was an inspiring presence in Council meetings. She showed up with creativity and willingness to solve problems in interconnected ways. She shared generously of her own experiences. And she did it often with her kid cuddled on her lap. Lida reminds us of how much caregivers give and how they keep showing up.
