Nachelle has been a supportive and visionary partner in our ongoing program that brings together restorative justice and co-design with high school students in Boston Public Schools.
Nachelle shows up as a leader, school community member, and circlemember. She was a member of a restorative justice circle, implemented changes students proposed for the school entry sequence and safety checks, and made the space for the mental health chill room that students brainstormed. We’ve been inspired by her as a learner, a problem-solver, and a believer in students’ ideas and perspectives.
