Don’t wait for permission.

Dr. Makeeba McCreary is President of the New Commonwealth Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund. In this role, she’s shepherding an organization that seeks to disrupt how philanthropy behaves by modeling new ecosystems of change.

Makeeba is a do-er. She gets stuff done and makes movement in ways that connect, strengthen and are generous to the people around her. She reminds us that it’s possible to be quick while also being sensitive.
